Our 6th Year!
The Sixth Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at Warm Springs Plaza on Saturday, December 5th, 2009, from 2pm to 6pm. This year's event will be marked by 2 firsts: the first time we've had it during daylight hours, and the first time it's been held on a Saturday. Last year an estimated crowd of 1,000 people enjoyed perfect weather for the event, and we certainly hope for the same this year.
A Day of Fun!
This year's entertainment includes photos with Santa; musical performances from Warm Springs Elementary, Weibel Elementary, Horner Jr. High, and Irvington High School students; booths and demonstrations from our local youth groups including the Boy Scouts and Little League; and a number of food booths. Our tree will be lit this year at the end of event.
The Planning!
